Sephora carries more than 340 brands across makeup, skincare, fragrance and hair care, alongside its own Sephora Collection line. It sells online and through several hundred stores, and the two channels do not always run the same promotions — the codes on this page are for the online store.

Beauty Insider is the free loyalty program and the single most useful thing to understand here. Members earn points on every purchase, and those points are redeemed against the post-discount total. Redeem them before applying a code and you spend points against the list price instead, which quietly costs you the difference.

The two Savings Events, in April and November, are where the deepest discounts land: tiered percentages that scale with your loyalty level and apply sitewide rather than to a curated selection. Outside those windows, percentage codes rarely go past 20% and almost always exclude a published brand list.

1. Click Get code — the code appears here and Sephora opens in a second tab.
2. Sign in to Beauty Insider in that tab before you add anything to the cart.
3. Add your products, then paste the code into the Promo code field at checkout and click Apply.
4. Only now decide how many points to redeem — they apply to the reduced total.
5. Check the discount line appears in the order summary before you pay.
